Great Expectations-Olypics Special
From the beginning of life,a Potential Child getting the things to come.Right from the school the child enjoys getting applauded in school what he/she loves to do,for something that for him/her is so easy and for other children almost impossible.Howeverwhat starts as enjoyable soon becomes a passion. Then comes the difficult choice in his/her life,whether to take that passion to a profession or let it away in favour of conventional carrier.
Then the start of practice is done under the supervision of Coach.With the right combination of factors-Physical,psychological and intangible-the preparations are to be made to represent country at such prestigious eventslike the Olypics,leaving behind many wannbes.
Then suddenly the participants are considered as medal making " machines".Regarding the facilities their struggles of life the journey from their home to the place of erformance nobody cares,onle expecattions rises to bring home the medals.Some of the athletes can't even afford the one time food at their struggling journey.We are not talking here about the medal making machines but Human beings like any of us.The result is enormous uncertainty leading to intense anxiety.
Anxiety Results from the gap between expectations and percieved likelihood of the expectations being fulfilled.Anxiety is not only related to sportpersons but is more likely and more intense in their case,Because the expecations being fulfilled are very low and uncertain.Therefore its very important for them to know about thmselves and understand their life in better way.A person is much more than a sportsperson,and life is more than winning only medals.
The purpose of life is to growand evolve into a better person.And to fulfill this purpose of life,all life is an opportunity.
As a society,our duty to understand and empathise with them far outwieghs their patriotic duty to return with a medal.

It's true and hard to realise that much talent in india is being ignored and in the most the places the facilities for sportsperson are still like a dream to them as for them they are unreachable and govt should facilitate at district level....
